Winter is beautiful. The Triangle has had some really good cold and snowy winters in the last five years. Hopefully, next winter will continue the trend.

I will admit I was a little sad seeing the snow melt today.

It should be mandatory that all meteorologists are women. Men have a long-documented history of promising 11 inches and only delivering 3....

Of snow. OF SNOW!!!!!

All depends on timing of temperatures really. It's going to be super warm tomorrow, meaning the ground will be nice and warm by Thursday. Then the temp will drop late thursday as the rain is moving through. IF the precipitation is still around when it starts raining, it could turn to wintry mix/snow. Timing is everything, but I think the ground will be too warm to have any significant accumulations.

That's still enough to close the schools. When flakes fly, the buses stay put.

Oh please, I am so tired of missing school. We are so far behind in what we are supposed to cover.

I like snowy winters, too. I hope next year we get a good storm that sticks around a while. This last snow just made a mess, and they cleared the roads too quick.

I've been doing the melt, snow, melt dance for about a week now. So ugly when it gets plowed and turns all grey and black. I liked that little surprise snow we had on Tues that mainly melted on Weds, no plowing or shoveling needed. That's the way to do it around here. That 6 inches that knocked my power out for more than 24 hrs, no thanks!!

Even if it snows nothing will stick. Not after a 75 degree day.
