Is there anywhere you can go dirt bike riding? My brother moved to the Apex area and I was wondering if there is a suitable(safe and legal) area to go trail riding-not motocross.

Motorized or trail bicycles? I know that Lake Crabtree has a track for non-motorized dirt bikes. Have you done a search?

Have you checked the national forests? Like Uwharrie, Nantahala,Pisgah (mtns) Croatan (east) ?
Uwharrie would be closest. I think all of those have atv trails.

Uwharrie
NCNatural's Uwharrie National Forest - Trails

link to national forests. Trail maps etc.

Sorry, used to be lots of trails in this area, but they are pretty much either developed, private property, or motorcross tracks now.

Thanks for those links,I think one of them states that if you have a street legal motorcycle or ATV you can use the trails.Good reason to buy a enduro-on-off road motorcycle.
