Kosher Butcher in Raleigh? (Durham: apartment, store, Whole Foods)

Hi Guys

We've just moved into an apartment community around Brier Creek in Raleigh...

Is there a kosher butcher anywhere around? I've searched online (and also on this forum) and cant seem to find an answer on this. (which would probably hint at "NO")

If not, any ideas on where we could maybe get kosher meat from a meat counter anywhere else?

Failing that, any suggestions on where we could just get "good" meat? While we're Jewish, we mainly use kosher meat as we prefer the taste - any other recommendations (if there isnt a kosher meat place around) would be appreciated

Sabra Kosher in Durham. Sabra Kosher Durham NC Israeli Food Store and Market (http://www.sabrakosher.com - broken link). It is fairly new. Hasn't been opened all that long. That's about it that I know of.

Good catch, jln! This place is practically on my doorstep, yet I didn't even know it existed.

Trader Joe's seems to routinely have kosher chicken and turkey.

For just "good" meat, Whole Foods in Raleigh has a good meat counter.
