I am up for any suggestions. Places, activities, events or places to eat.
Is there a good web site that gives events happening in Raleigh?

Frankie's Fun Park, or Adventure landing, if it's not too cold outside!

The Musuem's (esp. science) are always great! I know my nephews like them as well!

Chuck E. Cheese for food - Kids love that stuff!

I hope you and your nephew have a great time!

It seems I read somewhere on this forum that marbles museum is for younger kids. Would a 6 year old like it?
Some great suggestions, I think he would like the dinosaur exhibit.

I was at Marbles this weekend for the first time. I'd say its geared mostly at kids aged 2-5, however I saw plenty older than that who were still having a good time. There are 2 floors there and the upstairs has more "craft stations" and things that would appeal to older children. With the Science Museum right next door, you could always go to Marbles first, and if its a bust just head over there.

Your nep[hew would still have a good time at Marbles. They also have a 3d Imax theater there so you can look for what is playing and see if any of it would interest him.

other things to do:
Museum of Natural Science, Raleigh
Museum of Life and Science, Durham
Frankies
Hoppers House in Apex.
Jumpin Beans in Cary
I havent been so I dont know yet if he would be young enough but I heard Planet Child in Cary is great. I have a 5 yr old who is dying to go check it out.

There are also a ton of playgrounds to check out. Kidz Towne in Apex, and Morrisville community park are two of our favorites.
