My girls have a four-day weekend this weekend. Are there any exciting events happening? Or suggestions for fun day trips? It might be nice to see more of the state. We've only been to Wilmington Beach.
How old are your girls? If the weather is nice, what about the zoo in Asheboro?
The mountains for more than a day trip. Blowing Rock. See the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Charlotte? There is a nice museum called Discovery Place. It is good for children of all ages. You can also shop around Phillips Place and South Park Mall. Girls love to shop.
My Dh is taking the kids to the zoo this weekend if the weather is decent (while I go off galavanting in Atlanta with some girlfriends! )
Myrtle beach can be fun and inexpensive this time of year. Stay in one of those hotels with indoor pools and a lazy river, check out the Ripleys stuff... my kids love that!
Thought I would piggy back off this thread since it is about the upcoming weekend. I am visiting some family and will be in Raleigh Saturday and maybe Sunday as well. Any ideas for say Saturday evening or Sunday morning/afternoon would be appreciated.
AFC and NFC Championship games on Sunday afternoon !!
