Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if they fixed the changes from 2012, or is that the new norm (and still better than the rest)?
I don't know... it sounds like a job for "Mythbusters"

Living in E. NC, we do not have Cosco or BJ's. I have shopped in Cosco in NJ and find their meat very good and a good quality. At home I buy all of my meats and produce at The Fresh Market. I cannot beat their Tuesday sale of Boneless Chicken Breast & freshly Ground Chuck for $2.99 lb. After cooking any of their meats their is little shrinkage. The meats are moist an delicious. I shop in Aldi for basic canned goods, dairy and paper products.

Just a heads up for my fellow steak connoisseurs. This weekend Kroger has their ribeye roasts on sale 6.99lb. Had the butcher cut two 1 inch thick steaks off for a total of around $16. They were excellent on the grill.

Last night at the Walmart Neighborhood Market I noticed that they had moved in wine and moved out Blue Belle ice cream. The Blue Belle space was completely empty.

Blue Bell had a recall because one of their factories had a disease outbreak. You will probably see Blue Bell products missing in most grocery stores. The Lowes Foods in Mebane had a sign up that all of their Blue Bell came from a different factory.

That outbreak killed 3 people. I'll be sticking with Turkey Hill (always inexpensive at Food Lion).

Trader Joe's is the highest ranking specialty gourmet grocer on the list. Publix is tied with Market Basket for the second best rated supermarkets.

Harris Teeter leads North Carolina-based supermarkets on the list.
