I saw one the other day - exciting! She must have been looking for an old feeder. My feeder seemed to get moldy too quickly and I didn't have it up long last year, so I bet she was from the year before.
I live on the golf course in Preston and have been putting a feeder out in the same place for 4 years with lots of hummingbirds each year. This year, none so far! Should I be concerned about an unknown environmental factor?

I never saw many at my feeders until nesting was over...mid July or so.
We've had a a lot of hummers at our feeders in our yard, although the hummer wars are now starting to die down. It seems to be comparable to previous years.
