Sorry, I was using it so my answers would stand out when I was writing "within" people's quotes.

Yup! It was mostly around northern mass, southern NH that got the accumulation. My area got brief flurries then rain. I'm over it!!

I'd prefer the heat over huge snow accumulations any day. At least in the heat, I can sit in my A/C, go to my car with A/C, and drive to wherever with more A/C. During the snow storms we got up here, We couldn't even leave our house/driveway until I shoveled our cars out. And once I was done with the cars, I had to shovel the HUGE mounds of snow that sat at the end of our driveway from the plows clearing the streets. It took me a solid 5 hours of clearing snow to just be able to (barely) pull out of our driveway. We literally felt trapped. And with a sick infant at home (pretty much all winter), you don't want that feeling god forbid you need to take her to the ER

No, my motto is, don't use an averaged situation to determine your own personal exposure.
