Hello all,
We are very interested in moving into a nicer subdivision with some more privacy, wooded lots, mature landscape. We would like to build. So far preserve at smith creek is our top choice. We need it to be dog friendly as well.

Can you think of any other subdivisions we should see before we decide to build in the preserve at smith creek?
1-3 acres
under 450K preferably
wooded lots with privacy

Thank you in advance for reading and posting

Hawthorne is in Creedmoor and is my absolute favorite. Exactly 10 min to Lowes in WF, so its not so far "out there"
Barham Place, WF and Emerald Woods, WF come to mind as well.

I agree with Barham Place.

Olde Brassfield is another.

Granville County has better schools than Franklin County (if that is a concern, you should check that out).

The onsite agent works for the builder in case you don't have your own Realtor. (You should).

Silverleaf is just down the street from the Preserve. They have a new phase with lots up to 15 acres. Some cleared, some wooded. Check it out.

If you are open to other areas, I have a friend who lives in this subdivision which is about 10 mins south of Knightdale (off the Knightdale Clayton route). Stonewater, Raleigh, is a very quiet, country setting location. My friend is from NY and loves this area http://www.jimallen.com/neighborhood/stonewater

I was familiar with all but emerald woods. I will def look into that. Yes I have a realtor as well just trying to get a feel for if there were any other areas I should check on. We are leaning towards the preserve but its a big purchase decision so doing our homework!!
