Default Looking for Tigers fans too

I just moved down to Morrisville from Canton, MI and was wondering the same thing. I haven't run across any Tigers fans down here either but will let you know if I run across a group or any sort of fan club.
Sadly..... the only things I miss about Michigan are family, opening day at Comerica and Friday night home games.

Default Canton?

Hey,

Did you graduate from Canton? If so, what year? I graduated from Plymouth-Canton in 1990.

Most of my family is in Canton too. And they are ALL obsessed with the Tigers. I agree with you though. The only things I miss about Michigan are my family and maybe Randazzo's. Other than that, unfortunately, I can't say I miss it.

Default Go Tigers!

It seems like the Detroit Tigers have been one of too few things to get exited about in Michigan lately.

You'll always find MSU fans at Rudino's Rooftop on Strickland Rd. in N. Raleigh. I agree it's better to be in EL tailgating on football Saturday...but it sure is nice sitting outside catching some rays and watching the game (and watching all those Spartans freeze their tails off in Spartan Stadium!).

You can't go wrong with Rudino's...they even have MSU stuff hanging on the walls.

Default Yeah, I've heard it's ALL about basketball...

I'm sure hate-mail will follow, but basketball is the one sport I truly don't care for.

Some people say the cost of living in NC isn't much better than elsewhere, but I'll be saving a ton of money by moving:

$1300 --> 27-game Tigers package (beautiful seats, though)
$ 500 --> parking
$ 460 --> beer (at 2 per game)
$ 500 --> munchies for wife and me
------
$2760 (modest estimate) for 27 games of pure bliss.

$300 -->Baseball package on satellite from NC

Savings: $2460...but damn I'm gonna miss the park!

Can anyone say, "Honey, since we're saving all this money by not going to all those games, what do you say we get a plasma to watch them on?"

Hey, a man can dream, right?
