Just a note that the Durham Farmers Market occurs every OTHER weekend during the winter. We made the drive over last weekend (1/26) after seeing your last post and were bummed to find it empty :-(. We'll give it another shot tomorrow.

Oh, no! Well, it should be a pretty weekend for trying again tomorrow. Here are the other dates:

The Durham Farmers’ Market will be open through the winter from 10am to noon on the following dates:
December 1, 8, 15, 22
January 5,19
February 2, 16
March 1, 15, 29
Market will continue to be held in the Pavilion at Durham Central Park and will be open rain or shine. On April 5, 2008, the market will resume regular summer hours (8am to noon) and be open every Saturday through Thanksgiving.

I can't tell you how thrilled I am to hear that there is a year round farmers market in Durham. That clinches itl. We are SO moving.

We live in Seattle, before that LA, before that for me NY(Westchester County) and Portland. Finding good farmers markets is essential for me.
