It's so nice to hear something positive about the police department. I know I'd certainly feel more comfortable meeting someone at the police station, even in the parking lot. I've never had anyone come to my home before to buy anything I've sold on CL, instead I've met them in a public place, usually inside the mall or something similar. If they won't agree to this, there's always someone else to sell your items to.

Kudos to our local P.D.'s with going the extra mile to protect the local citizens. Thank you!

I wonder if they are okay with firearm sales? I would think so, but it would probably be a good idea to ask.

There are no firearms sales allowed through Craigslist.

I don't think the police force really means only Craigslist, it's just the most popular for local sales. I've bought local items from Ebay, Armslist, message boards and other sites where the sale of firearms is perfectly legal.
