I happened to be over that way this morning. There was a line out the door and down the sidewalk a ways. However, the wait time was only about 10 minutes.

Anybody have any reviews? The line extended far beyond the door and was at a standstill ...
Is it really that good? How does it compare to the Farmers Market country breakfast?

I have heard mixed reviews about the North Raleigh location, the downtown location is better than the Farmers Market IMO, but that's just my opinion

I wasn't a big fan of Big Eds North Raleigh location. It was pretty slow and lackluster service. My scrambled eggs were very runny. The sausage was way too thick to be enjoyable. Got a mountain of home fries that had absolutely no seasoning. Biscuit was doughy. Haven't been back since.

Interestingly I wasn't a big fan of the Farmers Market country joint either for breakfast. Again the service was slow and yet we felt extremely rushed. The food was just okay but expensive. Probably won't be back there.

So far my favorite breakfast joint is Metro Diner in the Sutton Square shopping center off Falls Of Neuse and Sandy Forks.

I visited once at the North Raleigh location. I wasn't impressed. Crunchy pancakes that were so big that the syrup fell off the plate. My fault I guess. Their fault for the crunchy pancakes.

I haven't been back in maybe a year or two?
