This might be more of a statewide thing, but it is of great interest to many here in the triangle because it reflects where public moneys are being used to encourage more jobs to be offered locally.
Well, I can see the level of interest in this subject is pretty small.
I myself found it interesting that Charlotte seems to be providing a lot more incentives that Raleigh-Durham. And that some of the smaller grants are really the ones that are following through in job creation. Potential for incentivized job growth is showing up in some of the counties surrounding Wake/Durham/Orange, so this might have a spill-over effect with the Triangle, especially when spouses might be looking for a job.
