It's certainly the most famous. What do you think?

Yes. People can say what they want to about The Angus Barn, but no steak house will ever stack up to it around here.

It's kinda cheesy but honestly the food is good. The other thing I really like is the service. It's been great every time I've gone in. They also treat my children like people!

Sweet story about angus barn. We went for Mother's Day and then my son wrote a review of the restaurant for a school assignment (he's 8). A grandmother of one of his classmates works at the angu barn, and she found out about my son's funny review. She asked me for a copy of it and passed it along to the owner of Angus Barn. She wrote a personal letter to my son (including a t-shirt and candy from the shop) and asked him to see her next time he was in. Next time we went to the restaurant he met Ms. Van and she was so sweet to him. She took him back in the kitchen, let him carry out a tray. That kind of personal touch is what makes that restaurant stand out from others.

I've been there three tiems. Once for dinner for two, once for thanksgiving, and once for a corporate event.

It's very cute, but the food is just ok, and not worth the price imho.

If I'm going to spend that much on a steak, I'll go to Ruths Chris.

I'd personally rank Ruth's Chris and Sullivans ahead of Angus Barn and in that order. I'll be at Angus Barn on Wednesday and know that I will enjoy it being that one of my vendors is paying for it

I enjoy the Angus Barn's food, but on that alone I wouldn't call it the best steak house (although their cheese crock and crackers are addictive). But when you add in the atmosphere and the overall experience, then IMO, it's worth the hype. If you have kids, it's really a great night out - they get to make sundaes in the kitchen, visit the treasure chest, do table side magic - hard to beat.

Sorry but I think its overpriced and not as great as I hoped it would be. I have been there twice for dinner and once for brunch (seriously overpriced for brunch). I think there is better to be had out there. Just my two cents. :-)

I prefer Ruth's Chris, Sullivans, and even Tripps over Angus Barn.

Please tell your reasons. Fare? Service? Ambience? Location? Price? Something else?
