Can anyone recommend subdivisions under $350k, 2500+ sq ft with larger lots - 1/3 acre or more?

Thanks!!!

With all due respect to Debbi F, Lakestone Village has very SMALL lots. Like stick your hand out your window and borrow a cup of sugar from the neighbor small.

Also check out Hampton Park (or Point), Morgan Creek, Elliot Landing, Northwyck, Holland Hills, Whitehurst, Fern Valley, Saddle Run, Bentwinds... well take your pick. FV will have a TON of options in your price range. You just need to decide if you want new or resale, etc. Keep in mind that FV stretches across Wake and Harnett counties. Homes in Harnett are going to be considerably less expensive compared to the ones in Wake but it's further out from town and the schools (I hear) are pretty bad and that is why.

You could just do a search on Realtor.com and put in your criteria and get an idea of subdivisions with larger lots... There will be many!

I really wanted to suggest it too! The houses there are GORGEOUS! On the plus side, they are lower maintenance. And believe it or not, there are a few lots in there that are maybe almost a .25 acre. But the houses are so big and jammed in there, even those look really close the neighboring houses. Weird!

Yes, Ballentine Elementary is right inside the S/D.

Thought so thanks. I do think the homes in Lakestone are nice though, and if one can get a quarter acre lot maybe that would work. Moderator cut: removed

We actually have a quarter acre lot (.24 to be exact) in Lakestone Village and we are in Phase 2 on a cul-da-sac. I seem to remember looking at the original map of the lots when we first were house hunting that some of the lots in Phase 2 are bigger. But some are small too. I think Phase 3 is suppose to be bigger whenever it gets underway. Let's hope this housing market slump makes a turn soon!
