I have a sudden infestation of small black spiders with white specks. Any pictures I find online that look remotely like the spider results in the spider being the wrong size. The ones that have infested my home are probably no bigger than the tip of my index finger.
I am finding them everywhere and it's annoying!

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any pest control recommendations as well as personal experience in their cost for pest control. I realize cost will vary depending on several factors, but it would help in making a decision on what cost I could expect when working out my budget for this month.
Thanks!

size of your home will be the biggest determiner. location will be the second.

As a SWAG, you can expect the first visit to be 20%-30% more than subsequent quarterly visits. And expect $70-80 per visit. it will likely be less.

Has anyone in the Triangle area had experience with Sage pest control? They are a company out of Charlotte and they are marketing aggressively here. We just had a very pushy salesman come by the front door to start their service, and our friends in Durham, Apex and Holly Spring had the same issue with Sage. I told the guy we just started with Stomp pest control and he kept going -to the point of offering the first service for $1 -he just wouldn't leave!

For a recommendation, people we know and us have had good customer service so far with Stomp. Stomp Pest Control - Home

Sage came door to door in my neighborhood on Friday they were very pushy. I was surprised by the attitude they had.

There was a thread recently on our neighborhood about Sage (they'd been soliciting here) - they apparently use an insecticide called Demand, which also kills bees and other helpful insects. There are concerns about toxicity to pets in its wet states and with issues of run off with streams, etc. Neighbors were being encouraged to seek out other companies.
