From what I understand through my friends who have been there, if this is indeed the same Chapel Hill XLB place they have been talking about, then this place is the same chef that left Captain J on Capital when they used to serve XLB. So it's the same XLB.

Today's N&O gives a glowing review for the XLB at Golden Palace on Capital Blvd (same location as the former Captain J's International Buffet).
