Curious if anyone knows what happened to Kerry Catherine jewelry at North Hills? I noticed several unflattering reviews online. I always liked her work but once saw a pair of earrings (said to be custom) that I later pretty much an exact replica on Overstock.com (for almost a tenth of the price) so that always made me wonder.

I yelped it myself and whoa! How would you like to live with that dude as your husband or even a boss or coworker? I'm often amazed by the level of success some of these nut cases achieve. Guess maybe the store closing would be a hint... Reminds me of that Italian butcher in NRaleigh that pi$$ed off every customer whose business shut down too. It doesn't surprise me that people say she was so nice. I feel bad for her no matter her relationship with this tool.

It's a shame b/c I always thought her work was nice. She had some beautiful rings. When I inquired about that pair of earrings I mentioned in my OP, it was he who helped me. He introduced himself as her husband if I recall but maybe he said co-owner and I inferred. What's funny is that he told me how they traveled and searched for months to source just the right stones and what a special pair of earrings they were.

That's called being a salesman. Telling you exactly what you wanted to hear. North Hills shopping is geared to people with high levels of disposable income and its not surprising there are snakes waiting to snare the mice.
Well, I can deduce that the business failed, but how can I get in touch with them? They're supposed to be repairing a necklace for me. Anyone have any leads?

Kane Realty might have a forwarding address if they were in North Hills. If not, might try the police to see if this might be investigated as a theft.
Husband's name is David ****** (legally, it's Charles David ****** - probably Jr.). Google him - he was in the news in 2008 related to some interesting behavior as a John McCain supporter. And here's a residence that he co-owns with ****** Sr. //www.city-data.com/wake-county...e-Drive-1.html
Do you see her in this photograph? If so, message her. https://www.facebook.com/kerrycatherine?fref=ts (She did graduate from Jacksonville high school, according to classmates.com which, if you join, may get you a current, personal email address.)

I have a bad feeling about that. So much jewelry has sentimental value that money can't replace. I hope this turns out ok for the customers left in the lurch. I'm not religious but I do believe in Karma and I'm hoping this works itself out.
