Has anyone had laser hair removal done in Raleigh? Would you recommend/not recommend the place you visited?

I'd love to hear about your experiences, and I welcome your advice and expertise.

Blue Water Spa. They're always running a special on some area of the body and you don't have to commit to a package. They also do a lot of community involvement (food drives, etc).

Is it going so well that you're considering laser yourself? Manscaping can be a chore.

Seriously, I know some men who've had more laser than women.

Glad you guys mentioned some of these. I had a great laser woman down in Florida and haven't done any up here. I contacted a chain in Raleigh and ye gods, they kept emailing and wanting my phone number. Uh, no. If you're that pushy, I don't trust you.

Blue water Spa has the best machines, pricing and services. There is actually a doctor somewhere supervising (never seen him but makes me feel better). not all machines are equal... unless you smell some burning and it hurts some it's not working. They don't make you buy a package so you can go once a year if you prefer or before your beach trip or whatever.

I refuse to go to anyplace that won't post or e-mail the prices upfront. Many of them want to 'consult' and sell you a package, etc.

personally I just wish these places would charge by the minute of laser time rather than by body part... are you listening blue water spa?

and yes, it totally works.

I agree. I want the prices up front. The one mentioned upthread (with Dana) doesn't do that. If I can't see the prices upfront, then I suspect a hard sell attempt via phone/in person and I'm too old for that crap.
