It's difficult to remember now, but I seem to remember them digging up my yard in late summer (Aug/Sept). I ordered as soon as I saw it active on the ATT site and had it installed during the last week of December.

So maybe 4 months?

We received a bundle offer for AT&T fiber in the mail today. It was no earlier than May when it was installed. Checked online to confirm, and all the speeds are coming up.

Google still isn't showing up as available yet.

Did anyone get email like below from google ?

Google fiber
You’re so close to completing your sign-up for Google Fiber.
Plans start at just $50*
etc...

they also included their contact as below
As always, if you have other questions, feel free to visit Google Fiber Help, call us at (844) 943-7220, or visit your nearest Fiber Space.

And their disclaimer indicated as below
We sent you this message because you signed up to receive emails from Google Fiber about news in your area
---------------

I called and they indicated that my address is not yet available and email was sent prematurely and most likely their system is going to be updated with address information in next 1-2 weeks and signup's can be made then.

chat gave different response and said this was a broader email for your area, and not focused on my address, and they are getting closer in my area and once my address is eligible then I will get email to signup. no insight..

my home is on westhigh st,, on SW cary parkway.

has anyone got similar email from google in 27513 zipcodes???

I'm surprised they're still installing fiber to neighborhoods.

It was fun when their crew came through my neighborhood and cut my AT&T fiber optic cable and then a few minutes later cut a gas line which shut down access to our neighborhood. The next day, my street was lined with company vehicles and guys watching the crew do their work. I have a feeling that heads rolled the night before because cutting that gas line came just a few weeks after the tragic incident in downtown Durham.
