I figured something was going on since WRAL has been doing a lot of switch-a-roo lately. Kathryn Brown is sure to get in there somewhere on the evening news.

Not a big surprise. Hyland never stays anywhere for very long.

Near certainty the separation was over salary than Dysphonia. No HR/legal department in their right minds would get away with that these days. (Unless there was a specific 'unable to perform duties' clause in her contract) I don't recall it affecting her on-air performance. I was alway more put off by her eyeglasses being tilted off kilter.

In any event. I'm sure she has enough in the bank for an extended vacation. That's show biz.

She was good but I never really cared for her news delivery style and Kathryn Brown would be a welcome replacement. Seems like WRAL has added several new reporters now as well.

WRAL needs some hot, young MEN!

I always chuckle at the total disregard of having attractive men as reporters and anchors, meanwhile we are inundated with blonde females.
