I'm sorry I know this isn't relevant but that's got to be the most ridiculous name for a subdivision. Is it new? I know in the 70's several Camelots etc.. arose but this just takes the cake for cheesy. What's in the future Dorne Manor, Kings Landing,Winterfell estates or Dragon's cove.

Of course Flea Bottom will be located in South Eastern Wake County.lol

Nope. Pulte crowned Excalibur about 1992.

It is part of MacArthur Park so I guess that is why. It is nice neighborhood lots of families and very convenient to many things including RTP. They do not have a pool but it is very close to the Cary family YMCA. I think part of it was zoned DDES/DDMS/GHHS, Mike's Holy Trinity or trifecta of schools, but I am not sure if that was changed. If you are buying there for that school assignment bear in mind DDMS is capped and IMO, I think DDES is not too far behind.

I believe the Excalibur portion is still DDE/DDMS/GHS.

Nothing wrong with that area at all. I know some people who live there who do wish they had a pool, though.

I sold one of the first homes in that area...right as they were building the "new" YMCA! I think that was '91 or '92?

It was a great area back then...don't think it has changed much.

Time flies!
