Greetings potential new neighbors:

I'm a lifelong Vermonter looking to move to the Wake County area (maybe Wendell?). I'm a medical transcriptionist and my fiance is a bus driver. I have seen postings for both available jobs in the Raleigh newspapers, so I am not concerned about finding employment near Wendell.

I have seen many beautiful homes in the area as well, so that is not a concern.

I have a question regarding dogs. Currently I raise pomeranians, and I have about 7 pomeranians with me. I stay at about 7 poms, never more (I sell the puppies). And, I think when we move we will stop raising them and just keep our family as is. Is it easy to acquire a kennel license? How many dogs can a resident have? Are their zoning limits?

Also, I'm moving from Vermont cause it is FREEZING and also because it has no big chain stores locally. I need to travel 2 hours to shop as I refuse to shop locally with no variety and high prices. So, do you have large chain stores near Wendell? Approximately how far? What chain stores? Is there competition? Large chain stores like Best Buy, Target, PetSmart, Michaels, Sams Club, etc.

Lastly, how are the roads? Are there lots of interstates/large highways near you? I am very tired of one lane roads...

Thanks for reading this, I hope to hear from you!
MJ
