Me and my family are thinking about moving to Cary, and we were looking at moving in the townhouses at Northwood Mews. We were wondering if anyone out there had any good or bad information about this place. It would really be appreciated.

I am curious, did you move to Northwoods Mews? I am thinking on moving over there too.
Thanks

No we didn't move there yet, but we will be in June. We are going to get a better look for ourselves next week so maybe i can tell you when we get back.

We are visiting the property this weekend. We can exchange our impressions!
I had a friend that lived there a while ago and she liked it. I just didn't want to pay much more than their price range, and I am scared that 'you get what you pay for' will come after me. Well, I guess I can move again after 1 year if I don't like it (but I hate moving!)

Will let you know what I thought about my visit!

Nina

i Live in Northwood’s and I like it. For what you get for the money it is great. It is convent to everything you need in carry. It is a very quite neighborhood.

Thanks for the input! We visited the place and we really liked it. The location and price are great, it's not crowded, they have a really nice floor plan. I've been spoiled with brand new appliances on my actual place, so I think this will be a downgrade (although they seem quite conserved, just concerned about the dishwash). I'd like some more storage room as well. BUT... you can't always have everything.

I think the only concern would be the neighbors, but you have this problem even if you own your place... I asked a tenant and she was really pleased living there.

Most likely we will move there.

Actually I have a question. My husband will be commuting to Durham, do you know how the traffic is? Our major concern is Maynard/Harrison. Do they get jammed in the morning??

Thanks

I work in Durham on 15-501 and I can easily get to work in 20 to 30 min max. Harrison gets backed up a little but mostly towards Raleigh. We love the pool in the summer time. Also you always see the maintenance guy out every morning picking up trash which is great. Who showed you around? Moderator cut: removed The only thing I don’t like is the parking you sometimes have to fight to get a spot. LOL but again like you said that is everywhere.

So did you get a chance to check the place? What did you think? I liked it!

We went yesterday and it seems nice. I hope things go well. I believe it will be okay until we buy our next home. I do like the area. I agree with having more room for storage, but we will have storage on the third floor. We did get a good feeling from the staff there.
