I’ve had sprint for about 10 years without any issues. And I travel around the country and internationally and don’t have any issues. Folks with at&t and Verizon in my office get dropped calls and sprint doesn’t drop them. I also like paying a much lower price than we did on Verizon.

I used to have Verizon until about 4 years ago. When I first switched to T-mobile it wasn't that great in my area of Apex, but over the last several years it's gotten WAY better. For the cost difference I'm paying with T-mobile compared to Verizon I'd never go back to Verizon.

T-Mobile is fine in Raleigh, Cary, and most incorporated areas, but as soon as you get even a little bit outside of "civilization", you won't have much service.

My parents live in Angier, fairly close to 401 and service is very poor at their home.

I've been a GSM guy for the better part of 20 years so I'm not looking forward to it. If I had one complaint about the move is that infrastructure, from an internet and telecom perspective, is awful. Dealing with this is still better than living in NYC though. :-)
I bought two iPhone SE's last year for $99 a piece brand new and use them on Total Wireless which is a Verizon reseller. $62/month for two lines ($31 each includes taxes and fees) for unlimited talk/text and 15gb shared data. Pretty much the best bang for your buck on Verizon.
