My friend just switched to him after her previous dentist and hygienist recommended a lot of costly "deep cleanings" that were completed unnecessary. She subsequently found out that the hygienists at the other office worked on commission!!! No wonder they were having her go for cleanings every 3 months!
Dr. Patel is an excellent dentist, is honest and has a devoted staff.
Service is good, although you should still know what's best and ask questions. They used to be in-network for metlife, that changed if I recall.
e.g:When I was a newbie, I had a root canal to be done in the next 2-3 months, but they went ahead and talked me to deep cleaning...; little did I realize that there is a yearly maximum. Could have easily deferred the deep cleaning to later and got the RC done first to better use the yearly max.
BTW there is another one who got very good reviews, i.e, Cary Dental Rejuvenation | Dentist in Cary, NC 27518 Dr Bikram Singh. He has good facility to treat all kinds of tooth problems every though insurance doesn't allow it. Don't fall prey to their sweet talk.
Better stay away from this Dr or get insurance approvals before going through any procedure!!!!

Dr. Patel is the best. I've been with him forever. He has saved me time, money, and most of all pain. I love his conservative approach. He truly has his patients best interests at heart.
