On one of these threads someone mentioned that they thought HT ice cream was good. I found it to be hit or miss depending on the flavor.

They have a 5 for the price of 2 pints thing on for the next few days.

The problem I find with Harris Teeter is they dump the stock in the aisle and then put in the freezer after the ice cream (or any frozen product) starts to thaw. Ruins the taste and texture to do it this way. I wish they would bring out from the back/stock area what they plan to put in a freezer unit right away.

That was probably me! I tend to buy the coffee or the southern milk chocolate. Both are super yummy! This is the all natural version without any artificial ingredients and no guar gum either.

Publix brand ice cream is good and still comes in the full size container. Often a BOGO deal or half price. Good product, good value.

Publix Premium Ice Cream is as good as some of the majors, plus, expect a half gallon, while others have shrunk in size and raised their prices.

One other thing - Publix also sells Blue Bell.
