So glad this is getting coverage - I have such admiration for Greg Fishel for doing this. I think it's a huge public service.

You get a standing ovation Mr. Fishel! Well said!

I hope his comments get the attention they deserve.

It's almost enough to make me switch to WRAL. But I admit I have a bit of a crush on Big Weather on ABC-11. He makes my mornings a little more bearable.

Sadly he's wrong. Sorry to break up the love fest. Seems to be a frequent occurrence where a good headline is more important.

Yeah - not arguing climate change with you, Carlos Danger. You guys are like that group in the Poseidon Adventure going the wrong way toward the bow.

My point was that Fishel had the thumb screws engaged to do the piece. You do realize that WRAL's owner Jim Goodmon is some what liberal? Any WRAL viewer knows it.
Interesting and funny, How Fishel was Hooked.

LOL, thanks for the laugh! Thats got to be the worst (or best?) example of made up, pseudo-journalistic, any-idiot-with-a-blog BS I've ever read.

I mean seriously...here's just a few quotes:

"I’ve never met Greg Fishel."

"I have no clue what “Fish’s” politics is..." (sic)

"I’m sure there are “local weather guys” like Greg Fishel around the country that are hard-core Global Warming zealots that worship at AlGore’s altar. I’m sure there are a lot that don’t...I bet Greg Fishel is “a don’t”."

Nothing like knowing your subject and digging up facts! That piece is nothing but lowest form of blogtrash on the internet. Anyone who reads that, much less cites it, has absolutely no credibility.

Science is not debatable. I can't say I don't believe in gravity, then jump off a building. (Well, I guess I could one time.) Time will eventually tell which side is correct.

The article 'How Fishel got hooked' is comical. But that does not make it untrue. Remember when the National Enquirer ran the article about John Edwards? Still true even thought it was in the NE. It took weeks for WRAL to mention Edwards' affair. Remember to the liberals he was the new JFK.

The fact it was written by a clown makes it comical. The fact that it was just made up out of whole cloth makes it untrue.
