Looking for a nice day spa for a relaxing time. I prefer Raleigh, but I would drive for the right place.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated?

I worked at the Blue Water Spa as Dr. Law's assistant in pre-op and post-op pm me for info on that one. I like Iatria and another awesome spa is Synergy Day Spa - Raleigh NC on Glenwood Ave.

My wife likes Iatria as well, she uses the Cary Location, they have I think 3 altogether.
If you want to splurge you can also check out the Umstead in Cary.

Without a doubt...Iatria!

2nd choice...Skin Sense on Falls of Neuse Road.

I have a gift certificate to Mitchell's Day Spa and hope to get over there soon so I'll give you an update then!

Iatria seems to be winning here, but I have been going to La Therapie for the past two years and am really impressed by them. The owner is an aesthetician, and she handpicks her employees, so the massage therapists and the aestheticians and the best, and I had tried several spas before settling with this one. I would be wary of Skin Sense, they have good deals but the last time I went in July ( arranged for a surprise couples' massage, in hindsight should have stuck with La Therapie) the quality of the massage was definitely very inferior to that of La Therapie. Also, the staff came across as doing their job because they have to.

I dont recommend Colors day spa in Morrisville.

I think its fairly new, the owner/manager seemed extremely nice I just was not impressed with the stylists. I think a dress code should be in order but thats just my opinion. I was also not impressed with the service.

Just my two cents.

When Iatria came to Creedmoor Rd. I got a $450 gift certificate and though I would spend the day and have lunch and everything. Don't do that :-) I was so wiped out after that day from massage to facial, mud wrap, pedicure, manicure, burts bees scalp massage. My daughter came to find me and couldn't believe I was still there. Ladies break up that large gift certificate. I heard about these ladies in Calif. that live in the spa, soI thought I would try it. lol
