A friend of mine befriended a house cat that had been abandoned. She later found out that the cat was pregnant and recently gave birth to three kittens. The mother's leg has an injury that require's a vet. She is unable to keep the cats at her home. I told her I would post on here to see if someone knows someplace that would be able to take them in or provide a referral.
Also, as a side note on a similar topic.....I have some medication (antibiotics) in single serve doses and prescription food (not expired) left from my hamster that recently passed away. I was wondering if some animal group, shelter, etc. would be able to make use of it as I'd hate to just throw it out.
Also try Calvin's Paws. I used to volunteer with them.
