I know this is an odd question, and I'm on the fence about whether mediums are legit, but I try to keep an open mind. My girlfriend is a big fan of the show 'Long Island Medium', and I'm thinking of getting her a reading as one of her Christmas gifts. Does anyone have any recommendations? My guess is that some are out and out frauds, and some are sincere, and somewhat more legitimate, and I'd like to find the latter. Suggestions? Anecdotes? Experiences?
I think it's a FANTASTIC gift. If your GF is into them, I bet she'll love the gift.
I don't know of one to recommend and frankly, our opinions probably don't align, but I think this is a very thoughtful gift, and from what I read in your post, I bet it's much appreciated.

If having the "experience" is worth the cost,go for it.
Don't break the bank thinking you are gaining some otherworldly insight.
Thanks for the responses. I should add that it's for the experience more than any strong belief that something life altering will be revealed. A portion of her enjoyment of Long Island Medium is that she's also from Long Island. Not being from Long Island myself, I'm less of a fan, but it's a pretty lighthearted show and a lot less grating than any show with a Kardashian or a real housewife from some urban location. At worst, visiting with a medium could be a ho-hum experience, at best it could be something quite memorable. Whatever the case, I hope it'll be a unique present.
Who cares if mediums are legit or not. If that's what she's into it'll probably make a good present for her. Trying to tell her she's wrong for what she enjoys is only going to cause her to sleep with her back towards you.
