The website Realytrac recently published a report of affordable zip codes with good elementary schools. From the report:

"A good school is defined as having a 2014 test score at least one-third higher than the state average and affordability is the percentage of an average wage earner's income needed to buy a median priced home."

For the Triangle area, the report listed the following zip codes and schools:

27583 - Helena Elementary School near Timberlake, a community in Person County about 25 miles from downtown Durham. (Median home sales price of $172,500)

27520 - Powhatan Elementary in Clayton, in Johnston County, about 20 miles from Raleigh. (Median home sales price of $152,750)

Only two zipcodes in the whole Triangle?

Or is the report about the entire country?
