I need some advice. We are refitting our home with all new lighting-recessed, ceiling fans, chandeliers, etc. Can anyone recommend a store they've had good experience with other than Lowes or Home Depot? Also, we don't want to break the bank. We're willing to spend a decent amount of money, but nothing extravagant.

I've heard positive things about University Lights. I've never been there myself, though.

Check out this thread from last year: //www.city-data.com/forum/ralei...-lighting.html. When I built my house, I used House of Lights in Cary. Great selection, helpful staff and reasonable prices.

Default Square Recessed lighting-Stores in Raleigh

I have searched and searched for these things and maybe I"m just going to the wrong Lowes and Home Depot, but our home was built in the 60s and has the square recessed lighting covers throughout the house. Does anyone have these in their home and know where to find them in our area? I can't find them anywhere.
