My family (wife and 2 kids 12 and 10 years old) is relocating to the area from Spain and we need a furnished apartment with wifi or town home with 2 bedrooms for 1 month starting 28 June 2016. Preferably in complex with pool. Our preference is the area of Cary, Apex or Holly Springs. We would like to keep the cost to around 1000$-1300$. Thank you for any lead. We have searched but have not found much.

You're not likely to find anything furnished in that price range. Try vrbo.com and airbnb.com forget about the pool.

Your alternative may be an extended stay motel or executive housing.

Thanks for your answer JKgourmet. Any idea of what realistic price would be?

I don't know of anything furnished for under $2500/month, considering extended stay places and what a quick search of vrbo/airbnb shows almost everything $100/night and up.

I'm in agreement with Bo. I recognize that furnished housing is common overseas. Nonetheless, in the USA, it is RARE unless you are paying big bucks.

They are both right. As much as I dislike furniture and appliance rental places, they may be your best bet for temporary furnishing. Now if you can go hodge podge(imagines OP looking this up) there are thrift stores and places like Wal-Mart and Big lots that you could get stuff relatively cheap and sale or give away when you leave. It would probably be cheaper then an executive rental in the long run.

Edited: Ooh I just saw the one month time. Ouch I'd probably go with a Residence Inn or some other extended stay hotel. The rental market here usually leases for 6 months minimum, usually one year.
