Dog restrictions Durham??? (best, dogs, pets)

Does anyone know how many dogs and pets are allowed per household in Durham city limits? We currently have one dog and one cat, however, we need to add two more dogs as I need to take over care of my dad's dogs. I tried reading the Durham animal ordinance, but couldn't find the answer. Thanks for any answers you can provide.

Why not just call Durham Animal Control at 919-560-0630 and ask?

I know someone in Durham with 10 dogs and another with five - three dogs and two cats should be fine though I don't know the exact rules. I feel like there may not be an exact rule. But it's best to call.
