There are many around the Rochester area. I attended RIT so that's the only one I was familiar with and the only one central to both RIT and U of R.

That might be due to the little fact that's where they started back in 1916 and they are currently headquartered in Gates, NY.

I don't think Raleigh is high on their list...nor do I think Raleigh would be a good fit for one. I could see Charlotte getting one, though.

Article says they are headquartered in Rochester, NY....so it would make sense that there are many of them in that area.

Congrats to all of those who have begged and whined about there not being Wegmans in NC....you won!

I hate grocery shopping...a lot....but I'm all about some prepared food sections. I've been to a Wegmans before and they definitely beat out any grocery store we have around here for that...so good for them!
