Good Mechanic for OLD cars? -- in Durham (cost, shop)

Our vehicles are 14 and 15 years old. We love these girls and hope to keep them on the road a lot longer. Can anyone recommend a mechanic shop in Durham for vehicles of this age? Over the years, we've been to many different ones, but have failed to find one that didn't overcharge in various ways, or was not really good at problem-solving. We're particularly interested in someone who may be doing car repair as a side-job.

One is a Ford, one is a Toyota.

We actually used a mobile mechanic ( certified and does it on the side) recently to fix up hubbys 93 ford probe that he refuses to trash. ( oops did I say that...lol). Very reasonable cost and did a great job. If you'd like his name and number, send me a PM.

For the Toyota, I highly recommend Wasp Auto (near the corner of 54 and 55). They only work on Japanese makes, though.
