Both my kids went to Millbrook, one after Durant Middle, the other after Magellan Charter. Both of their schedules were heavy with AP and Honors classes and both ended up doing the IB Program and left Millbrook with a great education and beyond prepared for college. If you can do, or want to do IB, Millbrook is a great place to go.

I’ve heard good things about Wakefield and not as good things about millbrook. Heritage is also popular with families in falls river/Bedford and is many of those families base so may be worth applying to.

Wakefield is amazing! Amazing teachers and administrators, great Unified programs/sports/extracurricular/etc, clean school, and very good graduation rate. I live in Bedford as well.

She is now in tenth grade at Millbrook, and LOVES it. The teachers and administrators are caring, patient, and dedicated. She has a great group of friends, and has never seen seen a kid get picked on. She looks forward to school now. I know there is a special education program at MHS, and my friend has a child with an IEP in the school. She says it's excellent.
Millbrook is absolutely the better of the two.
