I am looking for an alternative to this drug, but something cheaper and just as effective. Something from Walgreens, CVS, RiteAid.

Looking for opinions on anyone found anything just as good to work as Clar-D?

Thanks.

I've had the best luck with Flonase, which is recently over the counter.

Different meds work on different people though, so I don't think asking others will help all that much.

I live off Zyrtec in the spring but it's not cheaper than Claritin-D. I agree, different drugs work on different people. Claritin doesn't do a thing for me.

I use Aller-Tec (generic Zyrtec) too. It's available at Costco in bottles with 365 one-a-day pills for somewhere in the mid teens. I can't remember the actual price because it's been so long since I purchased it. I want to say that its somewhere between $15-$17. I think that it's also sometimes on sale.

Aller-Tec is Cetirizine Hydrochloride

I haven't found anything that works as well, except the generic versions of it. I was in Wilmington last weekend and the CVS had them half off for the house brand. It was still $9 for the generic for 20 or 40 tablets.

Same here, nothing else works as well for me. We get the generic version at Costco - I don't recall the exact price.

I print the coupons from Claritin's website - I think you can do it each month.

I was there yesterday and it was on sale. I want to say it was $11.99 a bottle. I bought the generic Claritin and that was on sale for $8.99.

I use generic Zyrtec year-round, same great deal as above but from Sam's Club. In the Spring, I also use Nasacort which works amazingly well at controlling the nasal stuffiness and itchy eyes.
