looking for a nice gym to join in raleigh.

I use mainly free weights so I'm not trying to join a planet fitness or retro or anything like that.

Just want a nice gym that's not too expensive?

Any options?

Raleigh is a very large city so it's pretty hard to recommend a place if we don't know where you live. Lifetime is the nicest but probably on the higher end of prices.

Sorry I didn't include that!... I live at Legacy North Pointe Apartments abut 2-3 miles from the Triangle Town Center & Commons... would that technically be North East Raleigh?

I'd look into the Life Time Fitness and O2 Fitness near Falls of Neuse & 540

Planet Fitness has a ton of free weights (it's all I pretty much use) and is around $12/month...I go every other day normally.

After spending $20-$30/month on gyms with less and older equipment, Planet Fitness is a godsend. IMO. That being said I would find the closest gym to your house so you will use the membership.
