I'm flying out of RDU late Wednesday morning, and I'm parking at Economy Lot #4 since I'm using 540. Can I use the Lumley Rd. exit and enter the airport via Cemetery Rd? Looking at Google map it seems so much easier to drive directly to that lot by going to the back side of the airport, rather than using Aviation Pkwy. and driving through the entire airport complex. Thank you!

You can get there from International Drive, but I don't think you can from Cemetary Rd. But you can get there much easier from Lumley to International.

You should use FastPark & Relax on Lumley (on the other side of Glenwood) - best airport parking service in the area

Cemetery Rd might be airport employee entrance. So to be more specific: From 540W, can I use Exit 3, right on Lumley, right on Commerce Blvd, which flows right into International, and park right there at Economy #4?

Yes, lot 4 Orange is where I hold a parking pass. I take exit 4A (Glenwood south) take Lumley up and turn in at the light on Commerce Blvd. No need to take Cemetery Rd, it brings you to the same spot, in fact normally it's blocked off IIRC. Much faster, it's how the 'locals' do it . I can't remember the last time I actually drove through the airport, that's for tourists . If you're coming the other direction you can also get there via Exit 3, but if you're coming on 540 West take the second exit 4, right on Lumley, left on Commerce, follow it around through the big right hand turn, and Lot 4 is on your left across from UPS.

Lot 4 orange is split, there are two regular stops and the last two stops are the employee stops. The regular lot is up across from UPS.

When I can't drop my wife off she uses Fast Park & Relax, they are about the same cost as the lot IIRC. But better service. FWIW the bus in Lot 4 normally comes every 10 minutes.

Yes, although I agree with the previous suggestion to use Fast Park & Relax on Westgate instead of the on-airport parking.

I only use Fast Patk & Relax or the Daily parking deck. Uber and White Horse are also good options.

Uber would be quite expensive coming all the way from Greenville!

Also, I'm not returning until Saturday around midnight, so I'd rather just use the airport lot for this trip.

If you're getting in at midnight, that's MORE reason to use FastPark. It's well lit and monitored, and you're dropped at your car. No schlepping across a deserted parking lot. And they can provide assistance if your battery is dead or you have a flat.
