Hmmmm.....I never knew about that. I guess others did not either, as I was not the only one hanging out at the gas station.....LOL!

Thx for the info.

Sheetz has better snacks and drinks, anyway.

I usually just call when I land and have the person picking me up leave home then. A few minutes of taxiing, several minutes to get off the plane and several more minutes to walk from the gate to outside after a bathroom break usually means that nobody waits on anyone and no need to pay to park.

This works for me too, now that I live in Cary. When I lived in Sanford, not so much.

In addition to the cell-phone lot, and Sheetz, there is also the observation deck (a good choice if you have eager kids with you, waiting on "exciting" visitors.)

And in addition to "in the boonies" parking, there is also fast-park, and other private options.

Yeah, I use FastPark. It's much better than the satellite lots, and probably a lot cheaper now. (Plus when I travel for work, I get to accrue the points for free parking that I can use when I take personal travel)

Yes, airport management threw Hourly parking under the bus. (Pardon the pun.) You can park in Premier IF there's an empty space there. Don't count on it. And even when there is, Premier is a longer walk to the terminals than the former Hourly spaces were. And of course, it's more expensive than Hourly was.
