Millpond Village is a retail center located at the northwest corner of Kildaire Farm Road and Ten Ten Road in the Town of Cary in Wake County, North Carolina. It is presently anchored by Wake Technical Community College, and was previously anchored by a supermarket, Lowe's Foods #196.

Lowe's Foods #196 closed for business on Thursday, 19 September 2014. ("Lowes Foods Closing (another) Cary Store.") It would be one of two former store sites Lowe's Foods divested to Lakeland, Florida-based supermarket Publix.

Publix #1520, projected to open late in 2016, appears to be Publix's 13th store to open in North Carolina. (Thirty-two stores in North Carolina have been officially announced.) It was issued a pharmacy permit from the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy recently. An official opening date has not been announced yet. It is possible it could open in May.
I second the Hmart, I guess I thought since it was a grocery store to grocery store conversion it wouldn't really take so long but I don't know when it's going to open, do you know of any updates?

About 3 weeks ago, I queried on the HMart FB page. They responded with no firm date yet, but by the end of the summer.
