One of the reasons I want to get out of CT, is because of the lack of people I've been able to find who share my core belief. CT seems to be primarily Catholics and Atheists. I'm neither, I believe on a God who already paid for ALL sin and that it was completely a work of God, not humanity. It would seem much of the south is still like this. How's north central NC?

we have the full gamut of protestant churches from gay loving mainline, conservative baptists, to non christian logo giant building rock band megachurches
You'll find a congregation no problem.
Around the state you'll find those great marqees in front of churches with little jokes and whatnot
lots of churches with history too around, also great black protestant churches
Christianity has three branches: Catholic, EO, Protestant
And protestant's have many denominations.
To compare protestants and catholics you would sum all the protestant denoms and compare that to the catholics.
