Getting your flu shot does not warrant absolute immunity to the "flu", only certain strains....Sooo, with the exception of the chronically ill, elderly, very young etc. maybe NOT getting the shot for the rest of us and shoring up our defenses and immunity (lots of washing, sleep, vitamin C, avoidance of crowded areas during outbreaks, lots of washing) is a better choice? Seems a farce when everyone runs to get the shot and then still gets sicker than a dog and are told "Sorry, different strain!" And maybe there's a thoughtprocess (kinda like the SUV driver with 4 wheel drive in a snowstorm) that you are protected by the shot therefore, not to worry and precautions are lowered....

Hmmmmm.....

Anyone know how long this thing lasts? We are all supposed to board a plane on Thursday.

The worst of mile was over in about 3-4 days, but the energy drain lingers for a while after that. I am 9 days in and still not 100%.

I got a stomach version but it seems to be easing after only 2 days. Nausea and heartburn.

Wife & daughter got respiratory version.

We all got our flu shots months ago.

Hope y'all feel better soon.
