What about feedings? Will you want them to include that too? Same visit? Or another visit for that too?
The rest of the time will they be outside or inside with a doggie door? If outside make sure the sitter verify lots of fresh cold water every time he stops by.
You may want to look into a kennel. I think a basic kennel where we go is $33 per night. At $22 per day you are almost to the same price point. Just another option to consider.
No I'll be here to hand the dogs off and take them. I just can't walk them. So it is only walkies.
I pay a pet sitter $20 per visit to come into the house, play with the dog for an hour, feed her, etc.
For a teenager that lives nearby and doesn't have to drive, I'd go with $10 per hour. So, that is $20 per day for 2 walks. For 3 days, $60. I think the $30 is a bit too little but $50 may be just right!
For several years we had a neighborhood kid come and take care of our dog after school twice per week. Over the years, we had two high school aged girls who did this job, and one pre-teen boy. They didn't have to actually walk the dog, just come to our house, let him out the back door into the fenced yard, and wait a while until he was ready to come back in. They also brought in the mail and left it on the table, just so we'd know that they were there. We payed $5 per week for this, so $2.50 per visit. When we went out of town, we scaled this up to 3 visits per day, but basically still paid the same amount per visit. However, for an adult pet-sitter, we paid $10 per day.
Why don't you ask the teen what they would charge ? You might be surprised at their quote...and if you don't like it, counter offer or get another quote. Would you tell a roofer what you would pay, or a gardener, or a painter ? No, you would ask them to quote you a price...allow the teen the same courtesy of pricing their own labor.

There's an excellent idea.
And, if the number is low, you bump it a few bucks, "Oh, I think we can do a bit better than that. How about $X?"
Get the kid on board for super service. Don't chintz out. Make it worthwhile.
Is the teen a 13 year old, or a 17 year old?
I would expect the 17 year old to want a bit more.
For 3 days, I would probably be at $35--$50.
Coming from across the street or riding a bike a mile to get to the job? I would expect to pay more for the commute to work.
It is a billing rate, not an hourly wage with benefits.
Approximately equal to a $18--$20/hour job.
