Cary Towne Center Mall Store Off-Limits to Civilians

Been discussed in other threads, but it's been on the downhill for a long time. Didn't keep up with Crabtree and Southpoint, and more locally Crossroads area has had such huge opportunities for growth. Park West was the nail in the coffin, siphoning off several key existing mall tenants and attracting much of the interest from new ones.

I doubt people are going all the way to Southpoint, I know I wouldn't. There's just so much newer retail and local shopping destinations that don't look like rundown shells in the area.

Park West Village is literally right down the road for example and has been stealing a lot of the retail and foot traffic from the mall, but I digress. As mentioned before me, this topic has been discussed ad nauseam in a larger thread elsewhere on here.
