The home is so gorgeous, but I'm a sucker for modern architecture (as well as historic...basically, good works for me). Someday it'll be a classic and people will be surprised about the uproar.

Which makes me wonder if her husband supported the whole idea or was embarrassed that she pursued it. Or was indifferent.

Reminds me of a Gladys Kravitz scenario.

I can picture her griping to her husband while he ignored her and read the paper. On his iPad... or something.

I love modern architecture done right. The Euclid Street house is lovely.

Yup, me too. It seems like if the landscaping is right, you can mix the modern with historic. I'll take either - my house was built in 1983.

Mine was built in 2006. But, there are trees here. And good landscaping. It makes a huge difference. I really dislike the clear-cut, barren look. Blech.
