Eno River State park is a state park. They aquire land on a continuing basis from contributions. You get there by going north from the "beltline" of 85 around Durham on to 15-501 north. They have an annual festival every forth of July. They are really parking lot challenged.
Thanks for sharing! Question about the Eno River Mill. Is that at the state park? How do you get to it?
The mill is on West Point on the eno. Go strait down duke st. At the end of duke st vere right and follow the road(I believe the name of the road is Robeson???) until you see the west point on the eno sign, the turn is on the left. The entrance is right across the st from a kroger.

Yeah that was the name of the road, tell you the truth I'm a guy that can go to any where once and remember the way just off land marks, so sometimes I forget the name of the streets when giving people directions.
